early Dobringer Andreas

In 1997, I began my career as a plastics technician, starting as an apprentice in an Austrian plastics company. After a three-year apprenticeship, I worked as a machine operator in the thermoforming department, gaining foundational knowledge on classic ILLIG 37/10 machines. During the 2000s, as the Austrian company expanded and acquired small businesses in Eastern Europe, I was tasked with traveling to these new subsidiaries to train their employees in thermoforming techniques.

During this period, the Austrian company brought in a consultant from Germany, my mentor Dipl. Ing. Kurt Huth. Under his guidance, I realized the depth of my lack of understanding of the thermoforming process. Kurt Huth’s training made it clear to me that thermoforming, far from being rocket science, is a process that can be easily grasped once the details are understood. This new insight made it simpler to troubleshoot errors and to transfer this knowledge to employees across various companies.

I collaborated closely with machine manufacturers ILLIG and KIEFEL, incorporating daily production insights into new machines and tools. My expertise led me to support over 20 different locations worldwide, including the USA, India, Russia, and Europe.

In 2018, I decided to start my own business. Since then, I have been providing global support to companies, sharing my extensive thermoforming knowledge and the skill of effectively conveying this expertise to others.

Personal Life

I am happily married and a father of two children, aged 6 and 7. We live in the beautiful country of Austria. My passion for classic cars has been with me since childhood, and I own several American classics from the 1940s and 1950s. We enjoy driving these vintage cars daily with the family during the summer. Another passion of mine is horses. My wife and I own two horses, and we live in a region renowned for its equestrian culture. It’s the perfect environment to stay grounded and appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

I also love traveling and find that every trip teaches me something new. I’m fascinated by different cultures and, of course, the various ways of working in different countries. Exploring these differences enriches my perspective and inspires me both personally and professionally.
